DAY 1: FLIGHT TO GALAPAGOS TO SCY – INTERPRETATION CENTER – CERRO TIJERETAS
Departure to Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival at the airport of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno . San Cristobal Island, receiving by the guides, transfer and accommodation at hotel. Lunch. PM: In the afternoon visit the INTERPRETATION CENTRE – where passengers receive information about the origin of the islands and their endemic species. We ended our visit with a refreshing swim at the famous TIJERETAS. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 2: EL JUNCO LAGOON – HOUSE of TARZAN
AM: Visit to Junco lagoon, a good place to admire the change of vegetation covering the islands, also can visit the Galapaguera. – Visit the home of Tarzan or (ceibo house). Box-Lunch. PM: Visit to one of the most beautiful beaches of the Galapagos PUERTO CHINO. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 3: FERRY TO SANTA CRUZ – CHARLES DARWIN STATION
Early transfer to Santa Cruz Island (Boat 2 ½ hrs approx.) Check In – Lunch. PM: Visit to the Charles Darwin Station. Dinner & Overnithg at Puerto Ayora town.
DAY 4: TORTUGA BAY – HIGHLANDS
AM: Breakfast. Moderate walk to the beautiful beach of Tortuga Bay, unique in the world for its scenery, we can observe marine iguanas and other species of animals, return to the hotel. Lunch.
PM: Tour visit to a private ranch to observe “giant turtles” in their natural habitat, and to complete the adventure, a moderate hike along the amazing lava tunnels. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 5: FERRY TO ISABELA ISLAND –FLAMINGO LAGOON – GALAPAGUERA –TINTORERAS ISLET
Early Transfer to Isabela Island (Boat 2 ½ hrs approx.) -. Check in Hotel. . Upon arrival, visit to the Laguna Villamil, known as the Flamingo Lagoon, to observe flamingos¸ black necked stills, herons and galapagos pintails. Bus drive to the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, to learn about the reproduction and rearing of giant tortoises. Isabela is the only island with several species of tortoises all on one island. The distance between the volcanoes and the different environments allowed for five different species of tortoise to evolve. Here at the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center you can see examples of the different tortoises up close. Lunch at local restaurant. PM:Afternoon short boat ride to the small Islet Tintoreras within Isabel Harbor basin, to observe the endemic Galapagos Penguins, the only penguin that lives in equatorial region, pelicans, blue footed boobies. Walk across the islet to admire the bizarre lava formations, walking along the trail you can observe colonies of marine iguanas between the rocks or under the mangroves. Passengers can practice snorkeling or kayaking through crystalline turquoise water inhabited by white-tipped reef sharks, marine turtles, sea lions and marine iguana. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 6. SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO – FERRY TO SANTA CRUZ
Early breakfast. Hike to Sierra Negra, the world’s second largest active caldera. Box lunch during the tour. Return the hotel for check out and inmediate transfer to the Pier to board the ferry and return to Santa Cruz Island.
DAY 7: TRANSFER OUT AIRPORT OF BALTRA
