There are no flights available to the Galapagos that depart directly from cities and countries outside of Ecuador. First you will need to land on Ecuador’s mainland and then take a domestic flight to Galapagos the next day, leaving from one of the two airport hubs: Quito or Guayaquil.
Three airlines cover the routes to the Galapagos (Aerogal, Tame and Lan Ecuador) with two daily-departures from Quito and Guayaquil. Aerogal flies to both San Cristobal and Baltra airports whereas the other two primarily fly to Baltra.
Flights to Isabela Island
You can contact the local airline EMETEBE to take a small aircraft (Cesna) that flies between the islands. Flights to Isabela are made 3 times per week (landing by Puerto Villamil). Fares are approx. $100 USD one-way. Luggage is restricted to 30lbs aboard these flights.
